Practical Solutions For Real Business Challenges

Every business has different needs. Some want better access to reliable information. Others need to improve workflows, connect existing applications or assess whether AI could make a meaningful difference.

Absteq Consulting provides advisory, architecture and implementation support across four connected consulting areas.

The starting point is understanding the challenge and identifying an approach that fits your needs, resources and priorities.

AI Advisory & Adoption

Understand where AI makes sense for your business.

AI may create opportunities, but it is not always the most appropriate solution. We can help assess business opportunities, understand data and operational readiness, identify risks and evaluate whether AI provides a meaningful advantage over simpler alternatives.

Possible deliverables: AI opportunity assessment, readiness review, prioritised use cases or a practical adoption plan.

AI Agents & Workflows

Improve everyday work through appropriate automation.

Some activities can be handled through established business rules and conventional software. Others may benefit from AI assistance, particularly when documents, unstructured information or interpretation are involved.

We can help examine workflows, identify opportunities to improve them and design or develop solutions that combine appropriate automation, integration and AI capabilities.

Possible deliverables: Workflow assessment, solution design, proof of concept, prototype or agreed implementation.

Data Platforms & Analytics

Make your business data easier to access, understand and use.

Valuable information is often spread across spreadsheets, applications and databases. Disconnected or inconsistent data can make reporting, analysis and everyday business decisions more difficult.

We can help assess data requirements, improve data organisation and integration, and design practical reporting, analytics or data-platform solutions.

Better business data can deliver value independently of AI. It can also provide an important foundation for AI initiatives when these are appropriate.

Possible deliverables: Data assessment, data model, integration design, analytics prototype or data-platform architecture.

Architecture & Governance

Connect the pieces and keep solutions reliable.

Business processes, information, applications and technology must work together. Decisions about architecture, security, privacy and operational responsibilities can affect how reliably a solution performs.

We can help assess existing environments, develop appropriate solution architectures, examine integration needs and recommend practical governance and control measures.

Possible deliverables: Architecture review, solution blueprint, integration plan, governance recommendations or implementation guidance.

A Practical Example Improving sales quotation processing

A business finds that preparing quotations takes too long because product data, pricing information and approval processes are spread across multiple systems. A useful solution might involve connecting data sources, clarifying approval rules and automating predictable checks. AI may help interpret unstructured customer requests, but need not perform activities that conventional software already handles reliably.

Hypothetical example; not a completed client engagement.
